Wish upon a car

Top gear ... Shanay Hall and Kirsty Mitchell show off summer looks
from Wish.
With its liberal use of vintage floral prints, faded denim and broidery anglaise, the summer collection from Wish is a vivid flashback to the 70s.
By turns skimpy and wafty, the clothes evoke a sense of youthful freedom and casual comfort, which is reflected in the label's summer campaign.
Featuring a vintage 1965 Mustang and starring emerging Australian models Shanay Hall and Kirsty Mitchell the ads tell a story of two young women and their male companion stranded on a deserted highway when their car breaks down.
The collection's nostalgic Americana theme is caught in the desert backdrop - actually the NSW south coast on a bright winter's day - and in its vivid, high-contrast look, replicating the overexposed graininess of aged film stock.
